EBARA ESR Dry Vacuum Pumps are a consistent further development based on the construction of the AA series. They are designed as multi-stage Roots pumps, employed in clean and medium harsh applications. The models ESR80, ESR200 and ESR300 are combinations of main pump with an addition booster pump on top. Both pumps are Roots pumps.

With the development of the ESR pumps, drastic utility savings (electrical power, cooling water, nitrogen) could be achieved, up to 60% compared with the former AA series pumps.

The main pump is constructed of NiResist, a homogenuous steel alloy with high Ni-content known for its superior corrosion resistance.
